AIR CONDITIONING

A control panel for the air conditioning is located in your room next to the entrance door.
If in doubt, see instructions below. We recommend maintaining the temperature at
around 23°C for a comfortable experience.

PILLOWS

We offer three types of pillows to make your experience even more pleasant and to
ensure the comfort of your sleep. The 50x90 Fiber Ball pillow is filled with siliconized polyester fibers that have the advantage of quickly returning to their original state, thus providing comfort and feeling pleasant to the touch. The fibers mold perfectly to the body with great lightness and the outer fabric is made of 100% 280-thread-count cotton. The 50x90 aloe vera scented pillow with silicone fibers is made of a microfiber matted outer fabric and fiber filling. The aloe vera scent makes for a more peaceful and restful sleep. The 50x70 pillow made of white goose down, covered in 233-thread-count cotton, is very soft and light.

Light control

Lighting controls are located next to your bed and next to your room's entrance door.
There are 4 buttons that level the lighting – from top to bottom you have bright to dim light, and lights off on the last button, as shown in the following diagram.
The bathroom lights, bedside lights, and reading lamp have a separate control system.

Curtain control

To open and close the blackout curtains, use the controls located on both sides of the bed.
The top button is to open and the bottom button, to close. Don't forget to close the windows when lowering the blackout curtains. Also, do not place any objects in the curtains area because they might drop when lowering them.

CABLE TV AND CHANNEL GUIDE

National and international channels are available in your room via cable TV. A
list of all cable TV channels available on your television is in the drawer of your
bedside stand. The hotel does not offer streaming service, however, all of our TVs
are equipped with streaming app access, so you can log in to your own personal account. Remember to log out before leaving to ensure the security of your account.

BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS

All rooms are equipped with speakers. To listen to music, please turn them on and press the Bluetooth button to pair them with your device. On your device, activate the Bluetooth option and locate the speakers in your room (Janeiro SOM). Check out
our playlists on the JANEIRO profile on Spotify. Enjoy your music at an appropriate volume so as not to compromise the experience of others guests.

SECURITY SAFE

There are safes available in all rooms. The hotel is not responsible for items left outside the safes.

DO NOT DISTURB SIGN

We respect the privacy of our guests. You will not be disturbed if the DO NOT DISTURB sign is hanging outside your door. After 24 hours, if there has been no contact with the guest, our team will enter the room, as determined in our security procedures.

ELECTRICITY

There are USB ports and sockets in your room. All sockets in your room are 110v, in accordance with Brazilian standards. If you need an adapter, contact our team at extension 9.

WATER

Our room service will replace the water bottles on your bedside stand and marble countertop twice a day, free of charge. For your convenience, water and other beverage options are available for sale in the minibar in your room or through room service.
*Although tap water is treated, we recommend avoiding direct consumption.

MINIBAR IN THE ROOM

There is a minibar in your room with drinks and snacks options.
The menu can be found inside your cupboard with some of our JANEIRO products made especially to improve the experience of your stay with us.

If you choose to use the refrigerator with your own products, so that it is necessary to remove one or all JANEIRO products, a fee of R$ 150 + 13% will be charged.

With a stunning view, integrated with Leblon beach, JANEIRO Restaurant is
located on the 2nd floor of the hotel. At breakfast we offer a menu with hot meal suggestions from our kitchen, in addition to our buffet with fresh local products.
During lunch and dinner the à la carte menu offers a variety of seasonal dishes.

THE LITTLE POOL BAR AND VARANDA

18th and 19th floors.
Open every day from 8am to 10pm.

It looks outward. It is high up, on the 18th floor, with open skies overlooking a Rio de Janeiro that can be seen from inside the pool, infinity edge facing the horizon. The architecture converges with nature in an intimate space – a spiral staircase opens the way to our varanda and the terrace, an area for moments of escape or special gatherings. The Bar and Varanda offers drinks that complement our menu, providing options for lunch, snacks, and dinner.

BREAKFAST ON THE VARANDA

From the top of the 19th floor, with views of Cristo Redentor and Leblon beach, you can experience breakfast accompanied by a beautiful sunrise. This experience connects nature and urban life through its privileged location and the sea breeze. Subject to availability. Time to be defined depending on sunrise.

MASSAGES MENU

INDICATIONS

The JANEIRO massage menu was developed to serve people who are in
full health condition. If you have any questions, consult your doctor before scheduling a massage. Book your appointment in advance. We would like to request that, for any changes or cancellations regarding the Mini SPA, please inform us up to 4 hours before the scheduled session in order to avoid being charged 50% of the value of the session. In case of no-show, cancellations or changes without notice, the total cost of the treatment will be debited from your account. We ask that you are available at the scheduled time, so as not to delay your appointment and the ones that will follow.

All of the Hotel's decor items were designed to make your experience unique. In case you are interested in purchasing any of these items, please contact our Guest Services Team.

JANEIRO PRODUCTS MENU

JANEIRO encourages outdoor activities and offers guests experiences in nature that teach them to enjoy the city like a true local.

BEACH SERVICE

We offer beach service with chairs and umbrellas daily from 7am to sunset.
*In case of rain this service will not be available

BYCICLES

Our JANEIRO bikes are available to guests from 7am to 9pm.
To use them and enjoy the city, ask at reception.
*Signing the liability waiver is required.

FUNCTIONAL TRAINING

We offer functional training on the beach in front of the Hotel. Check available times and days with our team.
The goal is to encourage the practice of physical activity outdoors, in contact with nature.
*In case of rain there will be no training.

GYM

JANEIRO Hotel has a partnership with Bodytech Gym. The unit closest to the hotel is located 500 meters away. Our team will be happy to provide you with daypasses.

ASAP - As Sustainable As Possible / As Soon As Possible - is a movement that demands awareness about the urgency of adopting attitudes in daily life in relation to sustainability. We put the ASAP concept into practice by focusing on making day-to-day processes as sustainable as possible, using systems that save water and energy, avoiding the use of plastic, separating our garbage, adopting the dunes of Leblon beach, among others.
By choosing to remember to turn everything off when you leave your room, you will be helping our sustainable practices.

VISITORS

To ensure safety, visitors are not allowed in the hotel. Our suites, social areas, and the Little Pool Bar and Varanda are for the exclusive use of guests.

PETS

We only accept small dogs, up to 7 kg (15 pounds) and offer containers, pet beds, toilet mats, and water during your stay.
For the safety and comfort of our guests, we ask that during your stay with your pet you follow the following rules:

• Your pet must not circulate in the hotel's common areas;
• You must take your pet with you at all times when leaving the hotel;
• Pets should not be in the room when cleaning staff and housekeeping staff are working;
• Any damage to furniture, linen or any other items will be charged from the guest responsible for the pet and the amount will be debited at check out;
• Following restrictions of the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency, pets are not allowed in the JANEIRO Restaurant, in the internal area of CEDILHA Bar & Restaurant, or in the pool and varanda areas.

At JANEIRO Hotel, the safety of our guests and employees is our first priority.
Therefore, it is important that you read these procedures and know them in case of an emergency.

EMERGENCY EXITS

Check behind your room's front door and find out about the emergency exits on your floor. Try to familiarize yourself with their locations and the safety equipment.

WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY

Dial extension 9 to report any type of emergency situation at the Hotel or in your room.

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY

You will hear a constant high-pitched siren sound. Keep calm and leave your room. Go
to the emergency exit (the map is located behind your room door). Make use of the
stairs to leave the building. Follow the instructions of our employees and fire team, who are trained to assist you in evacuating the building.

HEALTH CARE

If you need medical assistance, ask our Guest Services Team for help at any time.
We will put you in touch with a medical specialist so you can schedule an appointment.
This service may result in an additional charge paid directly to the doctor.

SAFETY PROCEDURES

No Hotel staff will contact you in your room to ask for your personal information.
All confirmations are made at reception during check-in.

SECURITY SERVICES

The Hotel offers beach service, however, as the beach is a public space, we recommend
that you store your valuable items in the room safe.
The Hotel has a 24-hour security team and a surveillance center that monitors all its common areas.

It is prohibited to use private areas (rooms, apartments, suites, etc.) or common areas of the Hotel (hall/lounge, reception/concierge, restaurants, cafeterias, bars, elevators, corridors, bathrooms, work/coworking areas, leisure areas, etc.) for taking professional photographs and/or films/videos for the purposes of personal, commercial, promotional or advertising brands of third-party products or services in any media, including social media, without the prior and express authorization of our Brand & Marketing Experience Team. It is only permitted to display the Hotel brand or to tag its geolocation on social media when the publication has no commercial or promotional means, when it contains no advertising of third-party brands, products or services, and when it does not include content that is illegal or offensive to the image or reputation of the Hotel. If any material of this nature is identified, which has not obtained formal consent from the hotel, the guest will be charged a fee of 15 thousand reais for each media broadcast in any national or international media.
